How to use Epsom salts. Epsom Salts, Healthy Living, Health Tips & Alternative Health

Are you ready to get the best sleep ever?

I may be a little excessive but I use 1 pound of Epsom salt for a regular size tub and 2 pounds for empire tubs. I told you, I love my Epsom salt baths similar I sure benefit from the effects of them.

If you don’t want to use a pound per bath:

  • Fill a tub with soothing hot water
  • Add about four handful of Epsom salt.
  • Stir the water to help dissolve the salts.
  • Optional, add a few drops of essential oil such as lavender or chamomile if you like aroma therapy.

I then play some soothing music and dim the light. When the bath is full emerge your body as much as possible in the water for 15 to 20 minutes.

Set your alarm for the time needed and after the bath take a warm shower to rinse off the salt and dry off.

I recommend to moisturize as soon as possible after the shower so the salt doesn’t dry your skin out from the left over residue.

Either drink water or make your self some hot herbal tea to keep your body sweating out the extra toxins.

You’ll feel relaxed but a little light-headed so I recommend to take an Epsom salt bath before bedtime. When I do this routine I always sleep like a baby!
